ArtsQuest Center at Steelstacks

Located only a few blocks from Wind Creek Bethlehem, this contemporary performing arts center offers dynamic music, comedy, cabaret, dance, and other performances year-round. The ArtsQuest Center’s Musikfest Café presented by Yuengling is an intimate concert venue featuring the best in rock, blues, jazz, folk and more, along with full dinner service for most show. In addition, the performing arts center is home to the Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas, showcasing the best in independent, documentary, and foreign films, along with weekly comedy shows!

The ArtsQuest Center features a floor-to-ceiling glass wall that provides an awe-inspiring view of the towering former Bethlehem Steel blast furnaces, the iconic structures from which SteelStacks takes its name. The blast furnaces helped to produce the steel that made the Golden Gate Bridge, Chrysler Building, much of the U.S. Navy, and more!

Bethlehem Visitor Center at the SteelStacks

The Bethlehem Visitor Center, located in the beautifully renovated 1863 Stock House, provides a wealth of information on SteelStacks, Bethlehem, and the Lehigh Valley’s restaurants, hotels, events, and attractions. The Bethlehem Visitor Center includes interactive exhibits, along with helpful staff that will assist you in planning your visit to the region and book tours and activities at SteelStacks. The Bethlehem Visitor Center is open daily from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm except New Years Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The Bethlehem Visitor Center offers extended hours during most festivals with indoor restrooms. Parking for the Visitor’s Center is available at PNC Plaza, immediately adjacent to the building.

PBS39 Public Media and Education Center

The PBS39 Public Media and Education Center located at SteelStacks in Southside Bethlehem, boasts new technologies and provides even great educational services to the public.

The 29,288 square foot Center includes two television studios outfitted with state-of-the-art HD production and broadcast equipment, fully HD Master Control, and public access to satellite uplink communications. The Center’s 100-seat Studio A will allow PBS39 to host live community discussions and forums, both on-air and off. It will serve as a Town Hall to host engagement on the diverse issues impacting our region

The PBS39 Public Media and Education Center will allow the station to expand educational services and continue to produce meaningful local productions, as well as continuing to broadcast PBS favorites such as Sesame Street, Antiques Roadshow, and Masterpiece Theatre.

Allentown Art Museum

This lively cultural center boasts a world class collection, consisting of European Renaissance and Baroque paintings, American paintings and sculpture from the last three centuries, Southeast Asian sculpture, international textiles, decorative arts, and a library designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. This collection includes approximately 17,000 works of art which examine nearly 2,000 years of cultural heritage. The museum offers tremendous variety and quality in their collection and exhibits, programs, and calendar of public events.

Banana Factory

ArtsQuest’s Banana Factory is a dynamic cultural arts and education center located on Bethlehem’s historic South Side. Formerly a banana distribution warehouse, the arts center features 63,000-square feet of space that are home to 27 resident artists’ studios, three galleries, the GlassWorks glassblowing studio, Olympus Digital Imaging Center and the Gallery Shoppe

At the Banana Factory, you’ll discover a wide range of visual arts classes for children, teens and adults. Whether you’re an aspiring artist or a seasoned veteran, there’s a program that’s perfect for you. Explore glassblowing, clay, jewelry or one of the many other mediums that are available, or enroll your child in one of more than 20 fun, enriching summer camps.

Blue Mountain Ski Area

Ski or ride PA's highest vertical with 39 trails. Little Gap and Razorback are the two newest trails. Blue Mountain has 13 lifts including the region's only high-speed 6 passenger lift. Blue also has 5 awesome Terrain Parks for all abilities and the regions only BigAirBag for practicing aerial maneuvers! Blue's Tubing Park has 21 slides that are over 1,000 feet long. Brand new for this year, Blue Mountain is a US Luge Training Recruitment site. Next to our Tubing Park we will have the only East Coast Natural US Luge track open to the public. Crayola Experience

Da Vinci Science Center

The Da Vinci Science Center is open for exciting possibilities to all curious minds seven days a week. Its colorful and dynamic exhibit floor is packed nearly 10,000 square feet of experiences that highlight the amazing possibilities that science and technology bring to life every day. Exhibits can be enjoyed by people ages 1 and up. Special visitor and public programs take place throughout the year on weekdays and weekends.

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary

Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are a minor league baseball team that plays in the International League. The IronPigs are the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The team plays their home games at Coca-Cola Park, which is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The brand new Coca-Cola Park, which opened for the start of the IronPigs' first season in 2008, seats up to 8,100, and has a capacity of 10,000.

Lehigh Valley Zoo

Located in Schnecksville, Pa., within the scenic 1,100-acre Trexler Nature Preserve, Lehigh Valley Zoo is home to more than 250 animals representing 70 species - from African Penguins to Zebras. The zoo is open year-round, seven days a week. The Zoo hosts more than 100,000 guests annually and offers hundreds of educational programs, camps for all ages and family-friendly events, making it one of the most vibrant educational and cultural institutions in the Greater Lehigh Valley region. The Zoo is operated by the Lehigh Valley Zoological Society, a private nonprofit organization.
